#1 Blues Rock Album Worldwide

Here’s why Chicago fans need to arrive early at Mountain Winery

Fans are in for a cool doubleheader on Sept. 6th and 7th at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga.

The headliner is Chicago, the multiplatinum-selling act known for such hits as  “25 or 6 to 4,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “You’re the Inspiration.” The group has been making music now for more than a half-century and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

Of course, Chicago fans probably already know all that. Yet, what they might not know is to get to the show on time — or even a little bit early — in order to see Brad “Guitar” Wilson, who is opening the concert for Chicago. He’s a soulful blues-rock vocalist and a terrific guitarist — the latter of which is probably to be expected given his name.

Wilson will be performing songs from his forthcoming album, Brad "Guitar" Wilson, as well as other material. Visit bradwilsonlive.com for more information on this artist.

Brad "Guitar" Wilson has released five albums

Brad has toured numerous times with the legendary group, Chicago. As a special guest, he has been on stage at sold-out arena shows throughout California, entertaining several thousand people at each concert.  And now in September 2022, Brad will be opening four California shows for Chicago again! Very exciting!
International guitarist/singer /songwriter Brad “Guitar” Wilson has a soulful contemporary sound, tapping into all his sources of inspiration. His performances have made him a stand-out hit at countless shows.  Considered more than a talented guitarist by his audience, Brad is an exciting entertainer.
As a charismatic guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Brad has become known as a modern hot guitar player who can entertain the house with the best of them. His show features his songwriting and great renditions of dance cover songs. Brad's live show is presented with spirit and class.
Brad has opened for many other platinum recording artists
such as Buddy Guy, Cheap Trick, .38 Special, Marshall Tucker Band, Tommy Castro, and many others. He has established an identity as a guitar-star entertainer, performing at huge concerts at the West Coast’s largest casinos and festivals.
Brad is currently working on his next record, Nepenthe.  Inspired by his beloved retreat of Big Sur, California, this album was recorded and mixed by some of the best engineers, including the legendary producer Francis Buckley. (Quincy Jones Alanis Morissette, Aerosmith). This stellar guitar album drops later this year.
During 2020 and in 2021, Brad built a streaming show called "The Californian." The 30-minute show became a hit and introduced Wilson to a new audience worldwide.  Brad's hot electric guitar solo work and his in-depth acoustic guitar playing entertain viewers with both songwriting and singing. With three albums and now these new records, the shows feature songs from a deep catalog.
Already a five-album-charting hit maker on worldwide radio, he scored his first U.S. #1 movie track with the song, “Teaser,” from John Carpenter’s film, Vampires, a collaboration with producers, The Robb Brothers. For the next smash soundtrack, Brad subsequently joined forces with John Carpenter and some of Los Angeles' hottest musicians for the music to the movie, Ghosts of Mars, starring Ice Cube.
Other major accomplishments include his songs featured on television shows The Young And The Restless (CBS) and Passions (NBC). Brad has five best-selling albums: Brad “Guitar” Wilson, I’m Feeling Blue, Blues ThunderPower Blues Guitar Live, and Hands On The Wheel that includes worldwide charting hits “I Can Never Love Again,” “Something Goin’ On,” “Step By Step," "Change It Up" and "The Ballad Of John Lee."
