Greetings Music Friends:
We completed four national tour dates this month with the legendary band Chicago!! It was incredible and inspiring to perform in sold-out arenas!! There are photos included in this newsletter with more to come. I received wonderful compliments from the stars of the show: Robert Lamm (keyboards/vocals/songwriter), Jimmy Pankow (trombone/ songwriter) and Lee Lochnane (trumpet/songwriter). It was a thrill to hear Robert Lamm give me a shout out during the Chicago show!! Thank you so much!
With incredible weather, I traveled to Big Sur California for a really special photo shoot with photographer Alex Centrella who is known as one of the best in California. His photos are remarkable. We did photos at iconic locations for the album cover of my new album Nepenthe. The photos are sensational and I will start the packaging of the album with photos and liner notes. I am close to finishing the recording sessions on 12 brand new original songs that I have written. Every musician and support singer performing on the album are terrific and the engineers are the best. Hope to release Nepenthe later this year.
It has been a summer full of shows around California with more to go in this wonderful Fall season. The crowds in Monterey especially at Sly's on Cannery Row have been super supportive! Each night they create so much fun dancing and joining in on the sing-a-longs at the shows!!

Here’s why Chicago fans need to arrive early at Mountain Winery
Fans are in for a cool doubleheader on Sept. 5 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga.
The headliner is Chicago, the multiplatinum-selling act known for such hits as “25 or 6 to 4,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “You’re the Inspiration.” The group has been making music now for more than a half-century and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
Of course, Chicago fans probably already know all that. Yet, what they might not know is to get to the show on time — or even a little bit early — in order to see Brad “Guitar” Wilson, who is opening the concert for Chicago. He’s a soulful blues-rock vocalist and a terrific guitarist — the latter of which is probably to be expected given his name.
Wilson will be performing songs from his forthcoming album, “Nepenthe,” as well as other material. Visit bradwilsonlive.com for more information on this artist.
